The young and not so young Mum & dad

Teenagers who find themselves became a parent (willingly or unwillingly) need a lot of support.  And these supports are obviously should be established and provided by the government or the relevant "organizations".  This is well and good, but what about the normal 'adult' parents, what are the support that's available for them?  How do they know if they are doing a good job at parenting or not?

  1. I suppose they're doing a good job if the kids are communicating and happy at home. It's a hard question, though. Happy Mother's Day, Christine.

  2. I guess way back in the 1800's or before, a lot of young girls from 12 and upwards were young mothers, married to older and mature men. and we see that nowadays there are a lot of teenage mothers and fathers. i reckon that the support system should start at home, in ones household. because the love and bond within a family relationship is more real, then getting support from an outside organisation or helpline.

hope to see you final draft of this, very interesting topic.
